SolarMap is a solar energy estimation tool developed by PNP Microsystem. This app helps users estimate how much electricity their solar panel installation can generate. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is used.

This coordinate data is sent to the NASA POWER API (power.larc.nasa.gov) solely to retrieve solar irradiance data for your selected location. No personal identifiers are included in these requests.
All data saved by this app is stored locally on your device only and is never uploaded to any server:
This data is stored using Android's SharedPreferences and remains entirely on your device. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app.
SolarMap uses the NASA POWER Climatology API to fetch solar irradiance data. When you calculate results, the app sends only the geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) of your selected map location to this API. NASA's privacy policy applies to this data: nasa.gov/privacy
The app uses OpenStreetMap tiles for the map display. OpenStreetMap's privacy policy applies: wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy
No advertising SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking frameworks are included in this app.
SolarMap does NOT access your device's GPS or real-time location. The location used for calculations is the one you manually tap on the map. No location permissions are requested by this app.
SolarMap does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated version of the app on the Play Store.
